PROJECTS OPEN FOR BIDS

Evansport sanitary sewer project

The Defiance County Commissioners are seeking statements of qualifications from interested firms to enter into a contract for design and engineering services in connection with the Evansport Sanitary Sewer System. All firms interested should reply with a statement of qualifications. The Scope of work includes (a) the design, bid, and contract administration, (b) PTI permitting and fees, and (c) construction observation.

 

All proposals must be responsive to the Scope of Services section of this RFQ and must met the content of the RFQ/RFP criteria. Offerors are invited to submit their response to Maumee Valley Planning Organization, Suite 200, Defiance, OH 43512, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. The complete RFQ/RFP criteria may be obtained on the MVPO website at www.mvpo.org/bids, by emailing awhite@mvpo.org, or by calling 419-784-3882.

 

The Defiance County Board of Commissioners reserve the right to reject every bid and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. The County reserves the right to purchase material from the most economical source. Location of material and job site, as well as any other pertinent factors, will be taken into consideration. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening of the bids.

Deshler Road Repaving Project

On behalf of the Village of Deshler, the Henry County Board of Commissioners invites bidders to submit sealed bids for the Deshler Street Repaving Project.

 

Bids will be received in the Henry County Commissioners Office located at 1853 Oakwood Ave, Napoleon, OH 43545 until 9:30 am (local time), on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at which time and place bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after 9:30 am will be returned unopened.

 

This project consists of: two separate repaving projects; Township Rd 1B from Water St. to Rd C (approx. 4320 S.Y.), and W South St from Washington through Vine (approx. 2730 S.Y.). The engineer’s estimate for this project is $77,800.00 for Road 1B and $45,900.00 for W South St. There are also two alternates included in the project for parking lot improvements. This project is subject to all applicable Federal Labor Standards. This project is funded through the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program, Program Year 2025, and the Village of Deshler.

The contract documents may be obtained in the following ways:

  2. Via email, per request to mvpo@mvpo.org; OR

  3. In-person at the Maumee Valley Planning Organization’s Office located at 1300 East Second Street, Suite 200, Defiance, OH 43512. Open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.  

 

To submit your bid, sign it, submit it on the separate bidding forms included in Section 4: Bid Proposal Form, seal it in an envelope with “Deshler Street Repaving Project” on the front, and accompany it with a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Bid Guaranty Bond shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.

DEMOLITION Pre-qualification FORM 

Maumee Valley Planning Organization assists the Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, Putnam and Defiance Land Banks in procuring and soliciting for demolition services. To make this process as easy as possible, your demo company must become pre-qualified. Once pre-qualified, you will be eligible to provide demo services for all 6 County Land Banks.  If you do not become pre-qualified, you will not be able to submit bids or quotes for projects. Once you are pre-qualified, you will be added to our demolition email list, which receives updates when we have funds available to complete demolition projects. 

 

To become a pre-qualified contractor, please fill out and submit the demolition pre-qualification form below.  We will accept pre-qualification documents on a rolling basis so we cannot guarantee your documents will be reviewed and approved before any certain bid date.
