Sealed Bids for the Water Tower Demolition project will be received by the Defiance County Commissioners at 500 Court Street, Suite A, Defiance, Ohio 43512, until Monday, April 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The project includes the following Work:

The demolition of the existing 150,000 gallon double ellipse water tower located behind the Johnson Memorial Library within the Village of Hicksville.

Montpelier, cranberry run storm sewer

ADVERTISEMENT TO BIDDERS

The Village of Montpelier (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Village of Montpelier, Ohio and Williams County Commissioners Cranberry Run Storm Sewer CIPP

Sealed Bids for Cranberry Run Storm Sewer CIPP, will be received by the Village of Montpelier, Ohio and Williams County Commissioners, at 1425 E. High Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506, until 10:00 am, local time, on April 25th, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

The project includes the following Work:

In general, the work consists of rehabilitation 682 LF of 54-inch storm sewer on West Washington Street from Broad Street to Jonesville Street (200 and 300 block respectively). The Engineer’s Estimate is $356,620 to $505,620.

The Deshler Library Addition Project

 

ADVERTISEMENT TO BIDDERS

 

On behalf of the Deshler Library, the Henry County Board of Commissioners invites bidders to submit sealed bids for the Deshler Library Addition Project.

 

Bids will be received in the Henry County Commissioners Office located at 1853 Oakwood Ave, Napoleon, OH 43545 until 9:30 a.m. (local time), on April 9th, 2024, at which time and place bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.  Bids received after 9:30 a.m. will be returned unopened.

 

This project consists of adding an additional building onto the existing library structure, and some rehabilitation to the existing structure. The engineer’s estimate for this project is $1,151,287. This project is subject to all applicable Federal Labor Standards. This project is funded through the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program, Program Year 2022, and the Deshler Library.

The Bid Guaranty Bond shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.

 

The Henry County Board of Commissioners and the Deshler Library reserve the right to reject every bid and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. The County reserves the right to purchase material from the most economical source. Location of material and job site, as well as any other pertinent factors, will be taken into consideration. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening of the bids.

The Village of Edgerton North oak street rehabilitation Project

 

ADVERTISEMENT TO BIDDERS

 

On behalf of the Village of Edgerton, the Williams County Board of Commissioners invites bidders to submit sealed bids for The Village of Edgerton North Oak Street Rehabilitation Project.

 

Bids will be received in the Williams County Commissioners Office located at 1425 E. High Street, Bryan, OH 43506 until 10:30 am (local time), on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at which time and place bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after 10:30 am will be returned unopened.

 

This project consists of: (1) Reconstructing Oak Street from East Hull Street to River Street approximately 1,525 feet. (2) The resurfacing includes 100 cubic yards of a 1-inch leveling, or intermediate, course (3) 150 cubic yards of 1-1/2-inch surface course (4) Full depth repairs and an (5) aggregate shoulder. Additional work items include (6) new drive aprons, (7) crosswalk markings, and (8) stop lines. Traffic will be maintained during construction.  The engineer’s estimate for this project is $242,000.00 This project is subject to all applicable Federal Labor Standards. This project is funded through the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program for the year of 2023.

DEMOLITION Pre-qualification FORM 

Maumee Valley Planning Organization assists the Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding and Defiance Land Banks in procuring and soliciting for demolition services. To make this process as easy as possible, your demo company must become pre-qualified. Once pre-qualified, you will be eligible to provide demo services for all 5 County Land Banks.  If you do not become pre-qualified, you will not be able to submit bids or quotes for projects. Once you are pre-qualified, you will be added to our demolition email list, which receives updates when we have funds available to complete demolition projects. 

 

To become a pre-qualified contractor, please fill out and submit the demolition pre-qualification form below.  We will accept pre-qualification documents on a rolling basis so we cannot guarantee your documents will be reviewed and approved before any certain bid date.
